Sebastian Melo-Ortiz is a Senior Attorney in The Morgan Law Group’s Denver office, focusing on representing plaintiffs in first-party property disputes against insurance companies.
Mr. Melo-Ortiz was born in Gdansk, Poland and was raised in New York City. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting from Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business and a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law.

After graduating from law school, Mr. Melo-Ortiz obtained experience is various practice areas, including commercial litigation, insurance defense, toxic tort litigation, and no-fault insurance litigation. This experience provided invaluable insight into litigation involving insurance companies. More recently, Mr. Melo-Ortiz worked in family law, assisting spouses, parents, and grandparents navigate legal complexities during emotionally challenging situations.

In his free time, Mr. Melo-Ortiz enjoys spending time with his wife and two cats, exploring the beautiful State of Colorado, traveling nationally and internationally, and playing soccer on the weekends.
