Originally from Cuba, Karen earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Havana before relocating to the United States, where she pursued her J.D. at St. Thomas University School of Law. During her time at St. Thomas, she earned multiple CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, made the Dean’s List, and served as the Social Media Chair for the Children and Family Law Society.

Karen is fluent in both English and Spanish and remains deeply rooted in her South Florida community. Her Cuban heritage, dedication to service, and compassionate approach make her a trusted advocate for those in need.
