About the Super Lawyers and Rising Stars Selection Process
The Super Lawyers selection process is a rigorous evaluation that identifies the top attorneys across over 70 practice areas nationwide. To be considered, candidates must be nominated by their peers or identified through research conducted by the Super Lawyers team.
Key Evaluation Criteria Include:
- Verdicts and settlements
- Honors, awards, and certifications
- Firm positions and leadership roles
- Professional activity and pro bono contributions
- Education and career background
Candidates are scored based on these factors, and final selections are made by grouping attorneys into categories based on law firm size. This year, two of our attorneys have earned these prestigious recognitions.
What Sets Rising Stars Apart?
While the selection process for the Rising Stars list mirrors that of the Super Lawyers, there’s one key distinction: Rising Stars are attorneys who are either 40 years old or younger or have been practicing law for 10 years or less. Only 2.5% of lawyers in the state are named to the Rising Stars list, compared to 5% for Super Lawyers.
